This spring, Meadows proudly celebrated 52 years in business! After more than five decades, we remain committed to providing exceptional customer service and building lasting partner relationships, and we are incredibly thankful to our employees and customers who make our continued success possible.
At Meadows, we love pets! So, on Thursday, April 25, we opened our office to local animal rescue shelter Bideawee for a fun-filled Puppy Pawty. For more than 115 years, Bideawee has been the leading no-kill pet welfare organization serving metropolitan New York and Long Island. Through a vast array of services, Bideawee cultivates and supports the life-long relationships between pets and the people who love them.

DESIGNER PICKS
A Long Island native and resident, Matt Eble joined the Meadows team in October 2017 as a Project Manager, bringing with him four years of industry experience with a specialization in architectural interiors. At Meadows, Matt’s favorite part of his job is watching a space come to life from the demolition phase to a completed, beautiful work environment. “It’s quite rewarding,” he says. After so much time in the industry, Matt has developed an eye for seeing potential finished spaces when walking through a raw project site. Most recently, his team completed a 17-floor project in New York City. Recalling the final phase, Matt said, “when I walk through the space now and see thousands of people working…it’s nice to see the strategy we put behind it is working.”
Gina Chetram, Supervising Project Manager
Ed Targonski, Project Manager
"Matt is a pleasure to work with in every aspect. When collaborating on a project, he is willing to do whatever it takes to help the team complete the task at hand and satisfy the client."

Red Nose Day is a campaign with the mission to end child poverty by funding programs that keep children safe, healthy, and educated. Since 2015, the campaign has raised nearly $150 million and has positively impacted over 16 million children in America and around the world.
For the fifth consecutive year, Meadows celebrated Red Nose Day by donning clown noses and raising money to help end child poverty. Through the generous contributions of our team members, which were matched by Meadows, we raised over $1,000 to support Red Nose Day programs. Take a look at highlights from our celebratory ice cream social, complete with a DIY sundae bar hosted by Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream.

During Bideawee’s visit, Meadows employees enjoyed cuddles from adoptable Labrador puppies Spencer, Sparta, and Samba. After developing a special bond with one of the puppies, Meadows Designer Edwin Castillo moved forward with adoption, surprising his mother with the loving pup for Mother’s Day! In addition to covering the adoption costs, Meadows matched any employee donations made to Bideawee.
When he’s not in the office or on a project site, you can find Matt spending time in the great outdoors with his family, fiancée, and dogs. One of his favorite places to go is Pine Barrens Preserve, a 53,000-acre landscape located right on Long Island, so it comes as no surprise that when asked which fictional place he would most like to visit, he chose the Shire from Lord of the Rings. He says that the location’s greenery and ambiance “seems so pleasant.”
Matt also enjoys outdoor running and considers it a form of meditation that allows him to clear his mind and relax. To add a little fun to his runs, Matt listens to rock music. One of his go-to bands is Pink Floyd because it reminds him of fond memories as a kid spending time with his father.
To wrap up our interview, we asked Matt to share the funniest joke he knows by heart. He said: “The other day my fiancée asked me to pass her lipstick, but I accidentally passed her a glue stick instead. She still isn’t talking to me.”
Matt Eble
Project Manager
Fun Fact: Matt ran an accumulated 16,711 miles during his four years at college. That’s just over 80 miles per week and is equal to running the distance from New York to California and back over three times!
EVERYBODY LOVES MATT
Would you rather have all traffic lights you approach be green or never have to stand in line again?
I can live with traffic lights because they keep the roads safe, but never standing in line is a concept I can really get behind!
Would you rather have unlimited sushi or unlimited tacos for life?
Taco Monday, Taco Tuesday, Taco Wednesday…tacos!
We also asked Matt’s opinion on an important issue – is a hotdog a sandwich?
Absolutely not a sandwich in my opinion, but I guess that’s up to the individual chef!
WOULD YOU RATHER?
