EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT
Shine by Emu
Junior Designer/Project Coordinator
Christhel Lopez
"The Shine collection, designed by Arik Levy for Emu, is my favorite product this summer. Shine is a versatile and elegant product line designed for outdoor commercial spaces. Consisting of an armchair, lounge chair, bar stool, loveseat, chaise, and tables of varying height, Shine offers a complete range of products for dining and lounging. Made completely of aluminum and teak, every piece is lightweight, weather resistant, and available in four sophisticated metal finishes: white, bronze, black, and taupe."
DESIGNER PICKS
Long Island native and Upper East Side resident Nicole Gray has been a member of the Meadows Office Interiors team for over 5 years. Nicole began her career at Meadows as a receptionist and now serves as an Account Manager, an achievement she appreciatively attributes to the Meadows veterans who taught her everything she knows about the contract furniture industry. Recalling her first years at Meadows, she says, “it took a village, but I'm very happy with the process and I'm proud to be part of the team.” Nicole lovingly refers to her colleagues as her second family and says that two of her favorite things about working at Meadows are the environment and the people. “I love our space! It’s refreshing to walk in every morning.”
Laura Hanshe, Senior Designer
Jordana Rubin, Sales Assistant
“I love working with Nicole. Her organizational skills, attention to detail, and vast experience help to make all of her projects successful. She is an asset to the Meadows team, and I enjoy learning from her.”

At NeoCon 2019!
Couldn't make it to NeoCon this year? No worries! From stunning river-front installations to arcade-style playrooms, get an inside look at the 51st edition of NeoCon, as told by Meadows’ Ancillary Expert, Alexandra Glasure, by clicking here to read!
And if that’s not enough, Alex has taken over the Meadows Pinterest account and curated her very own board with ALL of her favorite ancillary product from the show. Click here to explore!
When she’s not in the office, you can find Nicole exploring New York City and its wide array of eateries. As a self-proclaimed foodie, Nicole enjoys discovering small “hole in the wall” food joints, as well as indulging in a big fancy dinner with friends and family. Albeit, if she had the chance, she would spend all her time on the beach relaxing on a lounge chair or, if indoors, binge-watching Big Little Lies.
When asked about what she’s most looking forward to in the coming months, Nicole said she is very excited for her upcoming wedding, which will take place this December in her hometown, and – as a great planner – she’s enjoying the planning process. If planning were an Olympic sport, she’s confident she’d take home gold – birthdays, travel, client projects, you name it!

Fun Fact: Nicole’s hidden talent is that she can say the alphabet backwards really fast!
EVERYBODY LOVES NICOLE
Would you rather have all of your clothes fit perfectly or have the most comfortable pillow, blankets, and sheets in existence?
Have my clothes fit perfectly for sure!
Would you rather have amazingly fast typing/texting speed or be able to read ridiculously fast?
I already type fast, so I’d love to read ridiculously fast or have photographic memory.
Would you rather have a flying carpet or a car that can drive underwater?
A flying carpet!
WOULD YOU RATHER?
Jane Warren, Senior Global Account Manager
“Working with Nicole has brought a whole new dimension to our team. I lovingly nicknamed her “Superwoman.” She is incredibly accurate in everything she does, and her vast knowledge of the furniture world is evident in her work. Her disposition, attention to detail, and outgoing personality make her a major asset and “go to” person. Nicole is the fastest emailer I know and a very Groovy Chick!”
Improve Creativity: Studies show that keeping plants in your workspace boosts creative thinking and problem-solving.
Healthier Body: The presence of plants decreases physical symptoms of stress – like cortisol levels and blood pressure.
Boost Productivity: Productivity can jump 15% when you work in view of indoor plants and greenery, studies show.
